United We Geek looks forward to working with Rich Artese and the Geeks on Call management team

Reston, VA September 12, 2008: A group of Geeks on Call America franchisees have formed United We Geek, the Independent Geeks on Call Franchise Owners Association, citing ineffective management of advertising, inadequate systems and business processes, and a distinct lack of urgency in addressing their needs.

The effort appears to be resonating. At least 50% of franchise owners representing two-thirds of active territories have expressed interest in the Association.

Geeks on Call America is a wholly owned subsidiary of Geeks on Call Holdings (Ticker: GOCH), Inc. Geeks on Call America went public through a reverse merger earlier this year. United We Geek, the Independent Geeks on Call Franchise Owners Association is the first such association in the company’s 10 year history.

Previously, only a corporate-sponsored and controlled Franchise Advisory Committee, with a limited number of members, represented Geeks on Call America franchise owners. Alex Burns, interim president of United We Geek, said the goals of the franchisor and the goals of the franchisees are noticeably different, in urgent need of reconciliation, and have led to the formation of the association.

Burns said that given known frustrations among current franchisees, he expects 2-3 new owners to join United We Geek each week, and that, despite differences with the company, the association plans to work with Geeks on Call America to resolve existing issues and improve the company’s image and performance.
