Godiva Selects IBM for Global Outsourcing Services Agreement
ARMONK, NY - IBM (NYSE: IBM) and Godiva Chocolatier, Inc. today announced that the companies have signed a services agreement for IBM to manage Godiva’s information technology (IT) infrastructure. The five-year agreement was signed on June 24, 2008.
Through this agreement, IBM will support Godiva’s offices in the United States; London, United Kingdom; Brussels, Belgium; Hong Kong, China; Tokyo, Japan; and Taipei, China as well as stores in North America, Europe, Japan and the Pacific Rim. IBM will provide data center services including support for IBM PowerSystems, Storage, service desk, security, messaging and data network and business continuity and resiliency services.
