Avnet Electronics Marketing Releases EXP SDI Module for Broadcast and Professional Video Design

PHOENIX -- The Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas business region of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT) announces the release of the EXP 3G-SDI Module. Based on National Semiconductor’s LMH0340/0341 3G-SDI serializer and deserializer, the new EXP module is designed to address the challenges faced by today’s broadcast and professional video product designers.

The EXP 3G-SDI Module enables rapid device evaluation and system development when used with the low-cost Xilinx Spartan-3A DSP FPGA baseboard. Included with the module is a development suite of FPGA information that enables rapid development of broadcast and professional video products and high-speed video applications by addressing both digital and analog physical interface requirements.
