New Environmental Wholesale Insurance Brokerage Begins Operations

Industry veterans David Blum and Joel Davenport to manage Eidyia Solutions, Inc.

In June of this year a new wholesale insurance brokerage by the name of Eidyia Solutions, Inc. opened its doors at company headquarters in Chicago, Illinois. The company offers all lines of business insurance with a special emphasis on environmental insurance products. The lines of insurance coverage for environmental exposures and/or environmental operations provided by Eidyia are backed by the largest and most well recognized carriers in the industry.

The concept for Eidyia came about after a need was recognized in the wholesale market for environmental insurance products. The pronunciation of the company name, “IDEA”, directly corresponds to the agency’s business approach and philosophy. Eidyia brings a fresh idea to the manner in which business is conducted between retail environmental insurance agents and the wholesale agent.

At the helm at Eidyia Solutions are industry veterans David Blum and Joel Davenport, two multi-line licensed insurance brokers with extensive backgrounds in the commercial insurance marketplace. Each is involved with the day to day operations of the new brokerage utilizing their combined 27 years of experience in the environmental insurance brokerage industry.
