Matrox RT.X2 Realtime HD/SD Editing Platforms to be Demonstrated at IBC 2008

Montreal, Canada .– Matrox® Video Products Group will show the latest developments on the Matrox RT.X2 realtime HD/SD editing platforms at the 2008 International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) taking place September 12-16 at the RAI Center in Amsterdam. (Stand 7.B29). Highlights of Matrox RT.X2 v3.6 include support for Microsoft Windows Vista Business or Ultimate (32-bit) and realtime playback of Sony XDCAM EX .mp4 clips.

Additional features of Matrox RT.X2 v3.6 include realtime capture of SD material directly to .m2v files via analog and 1394 input for immediate DVD authoring with Adobe Encore, as well as new realtime garbage matte effects with adjustable edge softness and opacity controls.
