TestAmerica New Jersey Laboratory Completes Renovation Improvements
TestAmerica has completed renovations to its Edison, New Jersey 50,000 square foot facility to improve workflow and meet increased testing demand.
The complete redesign included the construction of a new Sample Control Department, expansion of the Metals Department to centralize all instrumentation used for elemental analysis, addition of a spacious 30’ x 30’ walk-in refrigerator, and a new front lobby. The Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning system was also upgraded to provide better environmental control throughout the facility.
Lab Director, Ann Gladwell commented on the investment saying, “The Edison laboratory processes in excess of 300,000 samples annually and volume is on the rise. Our customers demand efficiency. These improvements help to ensure that our efficiency will keep pace with present day, as well as future demands for a laboratory of this size and scale.”
The laboratory held an Open House in August to commemorate the opening of its remodeled facility, providing clients and guests with laboratory tours and technical presentations.
