AIG Private Client Group Introduces Basic Health Benefits For Private Staff

NEW YORK--Aug. 11, 2008--AIG Private Client Group, a division of the personal lines property and casualty insurance subsidiaries of American International Group, Inc. (AIG), today introduced Basic Health Benefits for Private Staff.

Available to full-time domestic staff employed by AIG Private Client Group policyholders, Basic Health Benefits for Private Staff is intended to ease the financial burden of medical expenses as well as minimize time away from work due to illness or caring for sick family members.

Basic Health Benefits for Private Staff provides fixed-amount, first dollar accident and sickness coverage for hospital stays, surgery, critical illness care, preventative care, well-child visits, and accidental death and dismemberment. Participants can access a nationwide network of doctors and hospitals offering pre-negotiated discounts. In addition, they have access to a 24-hour, toll-free nurse hotline and receive a prescription discount card.
