Good health for travellers

Surgerydoor.co.uk, the UK health website, has unveiled a new travel health section that provides UK residents with health advice for travelling abroad.

The information covers immunisation requirements for over 200 countries and general health advice ranging from Culture Shock and Jet Lag to STDs and the highly topical “Bird Flu”.

The information is supplied by the Scottish Centre for infection and Environmental Health (SCIEH) and is continually being updated.

“There are dozens of travel sites that offer great deals on flights and accommodation as well as insurance should something go wrong, what travellers from the UK have here is a resource to help them avoid having to use their insurance” says Mark Harris Surgerydoor’s webmaster.
