Air Products Launches New Balloonium® Delivery Service

Air Products is launching a new dedicated Balloonium® delivery service for party and event organisers and specialist retailers in the London area. Operating within the M25, the new service will deliver lightweight helium cylinders directly to the customer’s doorstep, as and when they are needed.

Gill Beech, Air Products’ business development manager Balloon Helium Europe, said:

“Balloon helium sales in the London area have been increasing steadily and we expect demand to increase further in the run up to 2012, due to the high number of sports events and celebrations that are being organised.

“However, orders for balloon helium are often placed at short notice and meeting delivery deadlines can be challenging. The new delivery service means we will be able to respond to customer orders of all sizes as quickly as possible.”

Balloonium® cylinders come in three different sizes to suit the users’ requirements, which means they are easy-to-handle by professional and amateur event-organisers alike. In addition, each cylinder is fitted with patented safety features and the integrated regulator and quick-fit inflator connection mean that users don’t need to purchase expensive inflation equipment.

Before introducing the lighter Balloonium® cylinders in the UK five years ago, Air Products conducted consumer research and found that 92% of us think that balloons are an essential ingredient at parties.
