Dad Loses Little League Season – But Wins Family Back Through My Internet Business

WEBWIRE

Los Angeles, California – Economic trends show a growing number of moms want to work at home in order to have more time with their families.

But a surprising number of dads are now demanding equal time, according to a recent Career Builder survey.

David Ordan, 45 and father of six, is one example of the new “work-at-home dad.” Before joining My Internet Business, he was an education and marketing consultant. The money was good, but he was frustrated with the “classic career trap,” of long hours, too much travel and divided attention at home.

When his three little-league-aged sons begged him to be their coach this year, he was desperate to find someone else—anyone else—who could do the job.

“I told them I was a second-stringer in little league,” Ordan said. “But really I just didn’t have the time and that bothered me a lot.”

”Luckily, my kids wouldn’t take ‘no’ for an answer,” he added. “So I said yes –and promptly coached them to last place!”

Ordan noticed that his boys got over the losses quickly, and his wife and three daughters all enjoyed the extra family time together. He began to think seriously about changing his career.

He quickly found he was not alone. According to Career Builder:
• 42% of working dads would take a 10% pay cut to have more time at home with their kids;
• 46% of working dads said they have missed a significant event in their child’s life in the last year due to work;

When asked what set My Internet Business apart from the other options out there, Ordan pointed to what he calls the “3 Ps of internet marketing success.”
“Products, professionalism and – most importantly – personal coaching.”
“My first day with My Internet Business, my sponsor spent 8 hours with me on the phone and exchanging emails to make sure I got started on the right foot, and he continues to work with me every single day,” he said.
Ordan now mentors other dads - and moms - who want to succeed with My Internet Business.
“As for his little league team, Ordan said, “now I can say, ‘there’s always next year!’ and mean it!”
