Dad Loses Little League Season – But Wins Family Back Through My Internet Business

Los Angeles, California – Economic trends show a growing number of moms want to work at home in order to have more time with their families.

But a surprising number of dads are now demanding equal time, according to a recent Career Builder survey.

David Ordan, 45 and father of six, is one example of the new “work-at-home dad.” Before joining My Internet Business, he was an education and marketing consultant. The money was good, but he was frustrated with the “classic career trap,” of long hours, too much travel and divided attention at home.

When his three little-league-aged sons begged him to be their coach this year, he was desperate to find someone else—anyone else—who could do the job.

• 42% of working dads would take a 10% pay cut to have more time at home with their kids;
• 46% of working dads said they have missed a significant event in their child’s life in the last year due to work;
