Sharp Participates in Microsoft Windows* Rally Program

Sharp Corporation participated in the Windows Rally Program, a technology license program from Microsoft Corporation, and concluded a contract with the company. Sharp will utilize the technology and launch new products in series, such as digital MFPs, that have higher connectivity with Windows Vista.

The Windows Rally Program is a technology license program provided by Microsoft to hardware manufacturers, software developers, and service providers.

If the technology provided by the program is used in office products such as digital MFPs, control and status check of office products can be performed more easily.

Sharp will actively develop new products such as digital MFPs that support the Windows Rally Program to make connectivity of office products with Windows higher and to provide simpler, more useful products.
