Magic Quadrants Position Juniper Networks in Leaders Quadrant for SSL VPN and Network IPS Appliances

SUNNYVALE, Calif., Dec. 14, 2005 - Juniper Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: JNPR) today announced it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the “Leaders” quadrant of the recently published 3Q05 North America Secure Sockets Layer Virtual Private Network1 (SSL VPN) and 2H05 Network Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) Appliances2 Magic Quadrant reports. Juniper’s placement in the Leaders quadrant is based on the company’s completeness of vision and ability to execute in both the SSL VPN and IPS markets.
