BMO Bank of Montreal Opens $1.3 Million Bank Branch in Constitution Square, Ottawa

* Branch staff provide financial services advice in five languages
* New building is fuelled by clean energy from Bullfrog Power

BMO Bank of Montreal today opened a new 4,500 square foot personal and commercial banking branch. The branch is located in the new Constitution Square building at 340 Albert Street.

Branch Manager Sandra Sorrenti will lead a team of 12 personal banking and investment professionals who, collectively, will provide financial services advice in five languages, English, French, German, Arabic and Spanish, to better serve the Bank’s clients.

“We are committed to providing every one of our customers with the best banking experience,” said Ms. Sorrenti. “Our customers can be sure they will be met by a knowledgeable professional who will sit down and help them understand our products and services, so they can confidently make the right decisions with their money.”

Customers can expect:

* A highly experienced team of in-house experts, including personal banking managers, a financial planner and a BMO Nesbitt Burns investment advisor;
* Access to commercial account and deposit services;
* Two Instabank automated banking machines (ABM); and
* Full wheelchair accessibility.

BMO also announced that the branch will receive its electricity from Bullfrog Power, which provides homes and businesses in Ontario and Alberta with electricity generated from clean, renewable sources like wind power and low-impact hydro. BMO has purchased 5,000 Megawatt Hours per year of clean, emission-free electricity from Bullfrog Power.

In April, BMO Bank of Montreal revamped its Mosaik Gold AIR MILES Reward Option, providing cardholders an exclusive 20 per cent discount on all AIR MILES flight redemptions worldwide.

BMO’s Constitution Square Branch will operate from:

* 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Mondays to Friday

The branch will hold a grand opening BBQ on Friday, July 11, 2008.
