ZTE ’Talks to the Future’ with comprehensive telecom solutions display at CommunicAsia 2008

Senior executives to share views on Next Generation Mobile Network as guest speakers

Singapore - ZTE Corporation (“ZTE”), a leading global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, in line with its corporate theme ’Talking to the Future’ will showcase a comprehensive range of its latest product portfolio at CommunicAsia 2008 to be held from 17th to 20th in Singapore.

To further reaffirm its leadership in global communications area, ZTE aims to provide its worldwide customers with satisfying and customized products and services. With the theme of ’Talking to the Future at the event, ZTE will showcase its latest solutions on wireless technology, including the most recently released Software Defined Radio (SDR)-based Long Term Evolution/ Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (LTE/UMTS) multi-mode base stations, ALL-IP SDR-based unified platform, WiMAX and CDMA.

The SDR-based stations support both GSM and WCDMA simultaneously as compared to existing base stations in the market that need additional and separate hardware components, as well as provide LTE readiness and a smooth evolution path. It significantly lowers network infrastructure costs for operators, while improving network integrity, continuity and stability.

The company will also demonstrate its IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS), Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) and Business Support Systems/Operations Support Systems (BSS/OSS) to help operators enhance their core network and offer new multimedia services. In terms of broadband technology, ZTE will exhibit multi-play, Next Generation Network (NGN) migration and virtual private LAN service (VPLS). In addition to telecom infrastructure solutions, the company will also display a wide range of terminal products, including mobile phones, data cards and 3G handsets that support different mobile technologies.

Among the topics they will present include ’Consumer Demand for Service – Drivers for Next Generation Mobile Networks’ and ’IMS Empowering Your Broadband Networks’.

CommunicAsia is Asia Pacific’s largest and most established Information Communications Technology event, focusing on cutting-edge technologies, commercial applications and trends and developments in the industry. The event is expected to be attended by large telecom operators, equipment and solutions vendors.
