Chubb Employee Receives YWCA’s TWIN Award

WARREN, NJ.- The YWCA Central Jersey honored Michelle Middleton, a senior vice president with the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies, for her business leadership and contributions toward empowering women and other diverse groups in the workplace. Middleton recently received the award at the 29th Annual YWCA Central New Jersey Tribute to Women and Industry (TWIN) Awards Dinner in New Brunswick.

Middleton was recently appointed strategic marketing manager for Chubb Commercial Insurance (CCI). Since joining Chubb 20 years ago as a commercial lines trainee in the Tampa branch office, she has held several underwriting and managerial positions with the company. For the past six years, Middleton has served as worldwide commercial excess umbrella manager for CCI.

Middleton earned her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation in 2007. She is a member of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America Diversity Task Force and has been a co-chair of CCI’s Diversity Council since 2006. Middleton is also a member of Chubb Partnership for Women, an employee group whose mission is to encourage, enable and engage women at all levels to pursue and practice career development and leadership skills.
