Marriott Rewards members can fast track their dream vacation when they pay for meetings or events at participating Marriott brands using an American Express Card. Members who register for the promotion earn 25,000 Marriott Rewards bonus points per qualifying meeting or event contracted now and held between June 1 and September 30, 2008. This is in addition to the Marriott Rewards points members regularly earn for their meetings or events.
Qualified meetings and events must include 10 rooms booked for at least one night and/or catering-only events such as receptions, coffee breaks, banquets, weddings or teleconferencing. In order to receive bonus points, events require a signed contract and membership in Marriott Rewards. In addition, qualifying events must include a minimum payment of $5,000 on any American Express Card, excluding taxes and gratuities.
