Warburtons chooses Atos Origin for helpdesk support
To reduce costs, improve service and achieve greater efficiencies
London, May 2008 -Atos Origin, an international IT services company, today announced that it has won a five year contract with Warburtons, Britain’s favourite family baker, to provide helpdesk support for 2,000 users. The contract includes both first and second line support for Warburtons entire IT infrastructure including the back office SAP systems for sales, production planning, quality management, purchasing, finance and human resources.
This new contract with Atos Origin consolidates Warburtons Helpdesk and SAP support with one provider resulting in reduced costs, improved service and greater efficiencies. Atos Origin will deliver a number of service improvements including the implementation of an on-line self-service tool to report and monitor general IT enquiries.
Through its UK based SAP Centre of Excellence for Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Atos Origin will also provide strategic advice to further enhance Warburtons SAP infrastructure to help it better manage its critical business issues such as regulatory demands and bringing new products to market faster.
