ABC’S “LOST” Finale Is Out Done By Real-Life Indiana Jones

WEBWIRE

As the new season of the Emmy-Award-winning show Lost comes to an end, devoted fans don’t have to wait until next season for another adventure. In the meantime, step inside the world of Gary Garner. Compared to his travels, the Oceanic Six could never survive a real-life version of Lost.

Mr. Garner, a world traveler and author of the new book Through the Eyes of Madness, has found himself in some of the oddest, most inexplicable and hairiest situations, similar to those the characters on Lost have experienced.

“I quit my job as the successful CEO, president and owner of several Seattle-based firms, and embarked on a global journey with nothing more than my backpack,” says Mr. Garner. “And I never looked back.”

From exploring the depths of Panama to living amongst the people of a Masai village in Tanzania, Mr. Garner has seen it all. He has literally been homeless and jobless, and more or less without material possessions.

Each chapter of Through the Eyes of Madness is richly detailed with real life-and-death adventures. Mr. Garner continually put himself in situations that were seemingly un-survivable.

Much like the hit show Lost, Through the Eyes of Madness contains an intriguing twist: Mr. Garner has a mysterious surprise waiting for anyone who can decipher the encrypted codes in his journal, which can be found both throughout the book as well as on his Website, www.ThroughtheEyesofMadness.com.

“From beginning to end, the book is laced with a visual and mathematical code—but unlike its fictional cousins, this book’s secret is very real,” says Garner.

To learn more about the breakout book critics are hailing as “the most ingenious and intriguing adventure book ever written,” visit www.ThroughtheEyesofMadness.com, or preview a video interview with the author at http://www.ThroughtheEyesofMadness.com/Videos.htm.

HAPPENINGS: Mr. Garner has been invited as a VIP guest to the fiftieth anniversary of the Grammy Awards. In addition, he has debuted a film at Sundance and made a VIP appearance at the Synchronized Green Initiative Concert Series. He is a Von Dutch artist in residency, and public television stations nationwide air interstitials about his book.

ARTICLES/VIDEO/INTERNET: Mr. Garner and Through the Eyes of Madness have been featured in cover stories in River Valley News and Kent Reporter. He has also been the subject of a feature story in Park Record and profiled by New Eye Productions. He is featured on the Eco Treadsetters Website, YouTube.com and Fast Focus TV. An appearance on The Rude Awakening and other shows are to follow.
