ABC’S “LOST” Finale Is Out Done By Real-Life Indiana Jones

As the new season of the Emmy-Award-winning show Lost comes to an end, devoted fans don’t have to wait until next season for another adventure. In the meantime, step inside the world of Gary Garner. Compared to his travels, the Oceanic Six could never survive a real-life version of Lost.

Mr. Garner, a world traveler and author of the new book Through the Eyes of Madness, has found himself in some of the oddest, most inexplicable and hairiest situations, similar to those the characters on Lost have experienced.

“I quit my job as the successful CEO, president and owner of several Seattle-based firms, and embarked on a global journey with nothing more than my backpack,” says Mr. Garner. “And I never looked back.”

From exploring the depths of Panama to living amongst the people of a Masai village in Tanzania, Mr. Garner has seen it all. He has literally been homeless and jobless, and more or less without material possessions.
