WASHINGTON – XM Satellite Radio will cap its first season of carrying college baseball games from the six power conferences -- ACC, Big East, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-10, and SEC – with conference tournament games starting May 21.

XM has expanded its college baseball programming for 2008, airing more than 70 regular-season and tournament games. XM, the nation’s leading satellite radio company, is heard nationwide by more than 9.3 million subscribers.

Every game of the Big 12 baseball championship will air on XM. For the SEC and ACC tournaments, XM will carry ten games for each tournament, including the finals and semifinals. For the Big East and Big Ten tournaments, XM will carry the finals and semifinals. The Pac-10, which has college baseball games on XM during the regular season, does not hold a tournament at season’s end.

“The popularity of college baseball is at an all-time high, and fans all over the country can hear their schools on XM,” said Kevin Straley, XM senior vice president of news, sports, and talk programming. “For years, XM has carried every Major League Baseball game for every team. Now we’ve got college baseball from all six power conferences. Displaced fans who live far away from their favorite schools can now hear their teams on XM, wherever they are nationwide.”

XM airs more than 5,000 live sporting events a year. In addition to college baseball, XM airs college football and basketball for the six power conferences, including the conference championships. XM carries every Major League Baseball game, every National Hockey League game, every IndyCar Series race, and PGA TOUR events throughout the year. XM also has the 24-hour sports talk radio channels XM Sports Nation, MLB Home Plate, NHL Home Ice, ESPN Radio, ESPN Xtra, Fox Sports Radio, and the Spanish-language sports radio channel XM Deportivo.
Factors that could cause actual results to differ materially from those in the forward-looking statements in this press release include demand for XM Satellite Radio’s service, the Company’s dependence on technology and third party vendors, its potential need for additional financing, as well as other risks described in XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc.’s Form 10-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on 2-28-08. Copies of the filing are available upon request from XM Radio’s Investor Relations Department. All programming subject to change.
