Citrix XenDesktop, XenApp, VMware VDI Windows Profiles made Portable by Entrigue

Atlanta, Ga. – May 8, 2008 – Entrigue Systems, a leader in managing, configuring, and provisioning user profile settings on Windows desktops, today announced Script Start ProfileUnity, a new addition to the company’s product line. The product will be the industry’s first solution of its kind to provide both profile creation and management, and also profile portability (also known as roaming profile) features for virtualized and traditional Windows desktops.

Upon logon, ScriptStart ProfileUnity instantly delivers the individual’s Windows profile to the session. Later in the day when the user is in the office they may logon to a different PC which may be a traditional Windows desktop, Citrix XenApp desktop, or VMware VDI desktop. At logon the individual’s identical profile is delivered instantly to the desktop. Adminstrators can change profile settings at any time, i.e. mapped drives, folders, MAPI profiles, the settings will be reflected at the next logon regardless how the desktop is delivered.
