ACT Conferencing Announces New EMEA Channel Sales Manager

Golden, Colo., — April 30, 2008 — ACT Conferencing today announced the appointment of Mark Webster as the new channel sales manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Mark brings to ACT nearly 30 years of sales experience, almost half of which has been spent working in the telecommunications industry. ACT, a global provider of audio, web and video conferencing, will leverage Mark’s market expertise to support expansion plans in this region.

Prior to joining ACT, Mark served as the channel account manager for Pipex Communications, the United Kingdom’s (UK) first commercial Internet Service Provider (ISP), for nearly seven years. In this position, Mark secured 300 active partners in his first two years alone and consistently exceeded his sales targets year over year. Prior to that, Mark spent six years with D-Link Europe as the channel sales manager covering the UK, Eire, Ireland and the Benelux. He also held sales positions with Dataguild Ltd, Computer International Limited and Hawke Systems.
