Juniper Networks Rated ’Positive’ By Leading Analyst Firm’s Evaluation Of Network Access Control


Evaluation Criteria Include Offering Strategy and Overall Viability
Juniper Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: JNPR), the leader in high-performance networking, announced it received a “Positive” rating in Gartner’s recently published MarketScope for Network Access Control (NAC), 2008.¹ The report evaluates vendors based on the company’s understanding of the NAC market; its marketing, sales and offering (product) strategy; sales execution and pricing; and its overall viability (business unit, financial, strategy, organization).

According to the MarketScope, Gartner has defined the NAC market to be those vendors that sell appliance-based or endpoint software-based NAC solutions. To be included in the MarketScope, vendors’ solutions must be composed of the policy, baseline and access control elements of NAC.
