SEMPO AZ May Event to Feature Microsoft adCenter
PHOENIX, AZ April 25, 2008 The Search Engine Marketing Professionals Organization of Arizona (SEMPO AZ), a working group providing education, awareness and a better understanding of search engine marketing, today announced that Microsoft adCenter will headline its May 1 event.
Kelly Thomas, group product manager, and Jorie Waterman, senior program manager from the Microsoft adCenter team will provide an explanation of the tools and technology being developed by Microsoft Corp. to help search engine marketers during all stages of their advertising campaigns. They will discuss how to use unique research prototypes available from Microsoft adCenter Labs (http://adlab.microsoft.com), including the Microsoft adCenter Add-in for Microsoft Office Excel, which enables search engine marketers to easily build keyword lists, effectively plan their keyword strategy, and forecast monthly and daily keyword impressions for future trends. Thomas and Waterman also will discuss how marketers can use this data in both paid and natural search across the life cycle of a campaign.
Attendees will learn and experience the following:
What is available through adCenter, including a glimpse into the road map for the future
Insights about demographic targeting and how to boost search bids
Which research prototypes are available for review in adCenter labs
How the adCenter Add-in for Excel can facilitate keyword research
How the industry could use this data in its strategic planning and optimization processes
The SEMPO AZ event will be held Thursday, May 1, 2008, from 6 to 8 p.m. at airMarketing, 3419 East University Drive, in Phoenix. Admission is $20 for members and $30 for nonmembers.
