Scottrade Marketing Team Expands: Online Firm Adds Sam Yount as Manager of Advertising Strategy

St. Louis.– Scottrade, a leading branch-supported online investment firm has hired Sam Yount to oversee the firm’s online marketing strategy. He will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and will be located at the firm’s headquarters in St. Louis.

As Manager of Advertising Strategy, Yount is responsible for Scottrade’s Internet display advertising, search marketing, and social media, as well as all online marketing analytics. Sam has worked with Scottrade as a consultant and advertising strategist while with St. Louis-based Brighton for the past two years.

Before joining Scottrade, Yount was the Manager of Interactive Solutions for Brighton, a St. Louis-based marketing and advertising firm. He has over five years of experience in the marketing and advertising industry and received a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Chicago.

Additionally, Scottrade announced the addition of two other associates to the marketing team. Ryan Miano has been added as Marketing Content Editor and will oversee all marketing-related content, including www.scottrade.com. Ryan comes to Scottrade from WRAL New Media in Raleigh, N.C.

The firm also added John Seitz to lead creative and design for the company. Seitz comes to Scottrade from Krames in San Francisco where he led print design.
