Yara Chooses MCI For Total Telecommunication Solution

New solution brings increased business efficiencies

Oslo, Norway, 1 December 2005 - MCI, Inc. (NASDAQ: MCIP) today announced that Yara, the world’s largest supplier of mineral fertilizers, has signed a three year contract with MCI in Norway for a total telecommunication solution. Within the scope of the contract MCI has arranged to provide telecoms services, communication solutions, land-line and mobile traffic to Yara.

Further cost savings are added by the increased use of mobile solutions as well as virtual switch board solutions.
