Qualcomm and S-Fone Announce Agreement to Launch Advanced Data Services in the Vietnam Wireless Market

BREW Solution to Drive the Availability of Compelling Content for S-Fone Subscribers

Qualcomm Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), a leading developer and innovator of advanced wireless technologies and data solutions, today announced an agreement with leading Vietnamese operator S-Fone to launch BREW® services on S-Fone’s CDMA network. The introduction of BREW services will enable S-Fone subscribers to shop for and download a wide variety of value-added services. Examples of content available through BREW include music, ringtones, information, sports updates, games and financial applications. Qualcomm also will provide S-Fone with a hosted data service, which will enable S-Fone to bring these services to their customers quickly.
