BASF at the in-cosmetics trade fair in Amsterdam

BASF is to present its extensive expertise in cosmetics and personal care at the in-cosmetics show taking place in Amsterdam, the Netherlands from April 15-17. The company’s presentation at this international trade fair for cosmetic starting materials and ingredients is located at Stand F 180. More than 400 exhibitors from about 30 countries will be presenting at the show.

Luviquat® Sensation: innovative polymer for shampoos and hair care products with excellent conditioning properties

Freshly washed hair should be easy to comb, but still have plenty of volume and a soft, natural feel after drying. Until now, combinations of various polymers and silicones were necessary to achieve those effects. Luviquat Sensation, the innovative shampoo polymer developed by BASF, now meets all those requirements at once. The polymer also has excellent handling features. While many polymers are provided in powdered form and need to be dissolved prior to formulating the product, Luviquat Sensation is a water-based solution that can be mixed directly into the shampoo formulation. It saves both time and money. Luviquat Sensation gets its first public airing at the in-cosmetics show.
