CASABLANCA, Morocco.— Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has strengthened its systems integration and outsourcing capabilities for European clients with the integration of its delivery center in Casablanca into its Global Delivery Network.

The Accenture Global Delivery Network comprises 76,000 professionals at numerous delivery centers and other Accenture and client locations around the world. By applying a systematic approach to creating and capturing proven, repeatable processes, methodologies, tools and architectures, professionals in the Accenture Global Delivery Network enable client teams to deliver customized services and solutions in less time than would be required to develop them independently.

The Casablanca delivery center, which provides services primarily to French and Spanish clients in their native languages, supports a variety of technologies and technology platforms, including JAVA/J2EE, SAP and Oracle, mainframe, business intelligence and Microsoft.Net. The integration of the Casablanca center into Accenture’s Global Delivery Network brings the number of delivery centers in the network to 50.

Sharing the same methodologies, tools and architectures that Accenture uses across its Global Delivery Network, professionals at the Casablanca delivery center work with those in other Accenture delivery centers around the world to provide systems integration, application development and maintenance, and technology consulting services to clients across many industries.

“This is another step in creating a truly global network of capability where we can serve clients in multiple languages, and offer a real choice to manage supply and risk on a global basis,” said Keith Haviland, managing director, Accenture Delivery Center for Technology.

The Casablanca delivery center, which began operations in 2004, is Accenture’s second delivery center in Africa, joining one in Mauritius, which opened in 2002. The Mauritius delivery center, which is also part of Accenture’s Global Delivery Network, provides application outsourcing, systems integration and business process outsourcing services primarily in French and English to clients globally.

“Accenture continues to see strong demand for application development and maintenance services,” said Fabrice Dersy, managing director for Accenture’s outsourcing services in France and Benelux. “Our center in Casablanca enables us to continue to access a diverse and skilled workforce that can provide high-quality support to clients in France and Spain.”
