ReliatraN® Solutions Marks Milestone in India

DuPont Advanced Fiber Systems has relaunched DuPont™ ReliatraN® transformer solutions in India with Indo Tech Transformers Limited -- a transformer manufacturing company -- to provide safe, reliable and environmentally smart transformer solutions.

“The partnership with Indo Tech is another milestone in promoting ReliatraN® in India,” said Alok Bhatia, sales manager, DuPont Fiber Systems, South Asia. “This provides us with an opportunity in the ever-growing and intense infrastructure market in our region.”

DuPont has over 30 years of experience in designing transformers globally. Indo Tech is the second designated licensed manufacturer of ReliatraN® transformers in India.

ReliatraN®-branded transformers perform reliably under high ambient temperature, high humidity and significant overload conditions. DuPont™ Nomex®, which is the prime insulating material in a ReliatraN® transformer, does not support combustion in air. There is no possibility of fire, explosion or the release of toxic gas or other substances in the event of external fire. The ReliatraN® transformer can be recycled at the end of its life span and it does not pollute the environment. The design features of ReliatraN® transformer also helps reduce noise levels significantly.
