Horizon Healthcare Services, Inc. Awards IBM Seven-Year Contract
ARMONK, NY -- Nov 29, 2005 -- Horizon Healthcare Services, Inc. (Horizon), New Jersey’s largest health insurer, awarded IBM a seven-year contract for on demand outsourcing, the companies announced today. The new contract continues the working relationship between the companies. IBM will assist Horizon BCBSNJ in enhancing its customer relationship management applications and integrate its provider network applications.

Under the terms of the contract, IBM will, among other things, develop and maintain additional claims processing and other administrative software applications. IBM will also manage Horizon’s mainframe infrastructure and communications network.
