Financial Statement Services, Inc. (FSSI) Successfully Completes Type 1 SAS 70 Audit
SANTA ANA, CA – March, 2008 – Santa Ana-based FSSI has successfully completed an independent SAS 70 Audit of its document processing and online statement presentment (e-presentment) controls. SAS 70 is an acronym for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Statement on Auditing Standard (SAS) No. 70. SAS No. 70 defines the professional standards that service auditors use to assess a company’s internal controls and to publish their findings. The auditor’s report addresses all five components outlined in the
Sarbanes-Oxley legislation, specifically, the control environment, risk assessment and control activities, information and communication systems and monitoring practices.
