NAB Show Welcomes More Than 200 New Exhibitors

1,600-Plus Exhibitors Will Showcase “Where Content Comes to Life” --

WASHINGTON, DC- The NAB Show, the world’s largest electronic media show covering the development, management and delivery of content across all mediums, announced today that it will welcome more than 200 new exhibitors to this year’s event, which begins on April 14, 2008 in Las Vegas. The new exhibitors will join NAB Show anchor exhibitors including Adobe, Autodesk, Canon, CNN, Dolby, Evertz, Harris, HP, JVC, Microsoft, Panasonic, Ross Video, Sony, Thomson, Verizon and the Vitec Group to showcase digital content, technology and innovation across consumer and business segments.

More than 1,600 companies will exhibit at this year’s NAB Show, including representatives from 40 countries and across 19 industries such as cable, content owners/programmers, film and entertainment, enterprise, social media, telecom, wireless and more.

“The NAB Show is centered on content from creation to consumption for radio, film, TV, broadband and mobile,” said Chris Brown, executive vice president of conventions and business operations at NAB. “These new exhibitors showcase our reach across industries and our commitment to bringing together all of these markets under the common denominator of enriching programming across the entire content spectrum.”

The NAB Show’s extensive conference programming includes special pavilions dedicated to industry growth areas such as IPTV and mobile platforms as well international audiences like Bavaria, Belgium, Italy, and the UK. In addition, the NAB Show’s newly expanded Content Central section will provide a first-hand look at the convergence of content and new technologies. Content Central will include pavilions specific to content commerce, content distribution and IPTV, as well as a state-of-the-art theater dedicated to showing innovative content and technologies.
