Businesses Support Girlfriends Spring Break Weekend

The upcoming Baby Boomer Girlfriends Spring Break in Daytona Beach, Florida is getting a major boost from female-owned businesses.
The event organizer, Beverly Mahone of BAM Enterprises, says businesses have been eager to donate their products and add their name to the rolls. “Companies like Remiferin, Newco Marketing, Perrimenopudge.com, Soy Joy and Flashin’ Fannye have generously donated items to go into our registration goodie bags. These are the companies who will be in the forefront when it comes to marketing to the savvy female baby boomer.”
In addition, Mahone says an anonymous angel investor has made a cash donation which will be given away as a prize to the attendees. “We plan to use the donation to purchase $100 Visa gift cards, which we plan to give away during our seminars. “All anyone has to do to be eligible to win is to pre-register for any of the sessions and be present when their name is called.” Topics for the seminars include: “Caring for Aging Parents,” ”Marketing Your Business" “Looking Fabulous at Any Age,” “Money Matters,” etc.
Seating for each seminar is limited, according to Mahone, so those attending will need to reserve their spot by pre-registering on the Event website.
Mahone describes it as a weekend of education, entertainment and empowerment. The weekend will be filled with lots of activities including a Boomer Marketplace, a pamper me mini-spa, aerobics and an awards luncheon honoring 12 dynamic boomer divas. The guest speaker for the luncheon will be baby boomer actress Bern Nadette Stanis, who played Thelma on the TV sitcom, Good Times. Karaoke and dance contests are on the agenda, along with an over 40 Pa-Jamming Party.

“You can stay the whole weekend or just enjoy the Saturday events,” says Mahone. “It’s definitely going to be an event women who come will be talking about and preparing for the next one!”
