$1.1 Million Awarded to Car Accident Victim - Cellino & Barnes Trial Attorneys Stephen Ciocca and Paul Becker

A 52-year-old New York man was awarded $1.1 million in a binding arbitration for injuries he sustained in an auto accident.

The accident occurred when the defendant crashed into the side of the plaintiff’s car as it went through an intersection. The plaintiff maintained that the defendant went through the red light. However, the defendant testified that the plaintiff ran the red light.

As a result of the collision, the plaintiff suffered back and neck injuries, which subsequently resulted in neck surgery.

The parties were unable to resolve the liability issues and elected to arbitrate the case. After hearing testimony from the parties, the arbitrators made an award, which resulted in the plaintiff receiving $1.1 million.

“Stephen Ciocca’s trial experience and knowledge of the law was a key component to the outcome of this case”, stated attorney Ross Cellino. “It is important for injury victims to choose a law firm with proven results.”
