The U.S. Cargo Sales Joint Venture, LLC Reorganizes Leadership Team

ATLANTA, Nov. 22, 2005 – The U.S. Cargo Sales Joint Venture, LLC (US JV); which is the U.S. cargo sales and marketing organization of SkyTeam Cargo Members, Air France, Delta and Korean Air, today announced the succession plan for its leadership team. J.D. Cha has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Joint Venture as Bernard Frattini, current CEO, returns to Air France and KLM’s “Joint Cargo Team” joint cargo organization equally headquartered in Amsterdam and Paris.

J.D., who is on secondment from Korean Air Cargo, had previously been Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the SkyTeam Cargo U.S. Joint Venture. As J.D. assumes the role of CEO, Alain Pages, currently Regional Manager of Air France’s cargo operations in the UK, will take over as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at SkyTeam Cargo US JV. Nick Cushnie, Vice President of SkyTeam Cargo US JV’s Commercial Network, will continue in his role.

The U.S. Cargo Sales Joint Venture offers U.S. Export customers the benefits of a combined sales force, centralized reservation and service center, a comprehensive route network and a common product line. The company is equally owned by Air France, Delta and Korean Air, and governed by a joint Board of Directors. The joint venture is based in Atlanta with regional offices in Atlanta, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles, and is managed and staffed by experienced cargo employees of all three carriers.

The SkyTeam Cargo alliance was founded by Aeroméxico Cargo, Air France Cargo, Delta Air Logistics and Korean Air Cargo in 2000. Alitalia Cargo and CSA Czech Airlines Cargo both joined SkyTeam Cargo in 2001, while KLM joined in 2004.
