...to Deploy a Custom Version of Quigo’s AdSonar Platform

NEW YORK, NY . – AOL today announced that Quigo, a leading provider of innovative performance marketing solutions for advertisers and premium publishers—and a division of AOL’s Platform-A organization—will deploy a private label version of the AdSonar platform across AOL’s leading digital brands including News, Money & Finance, Entertainment and several other properties.

AOL will now be able to offer its advertisers text-based, pay-for-performance advertising solutions on an individual property—like AOL Sports—or across the collection of AOL’s sites. Quigo’s AdSonar-powered advertising platform will also offer full transparency and control, unlike other blind ad networks where advertisers are uncertain of the specific sites or pages where their ads will run. Advertisers can target by specific pages, like the front screen of Moviefone.com, sections, like AOL New’s elections coverage, and hundreds of topics or keywords such as “stocks” or “New York Giants.”

“Quigo is a vital component of Platform-A, and we’re thrilled about the deployment of AdSonar across our AOL brands and properties,” said Curt Viebranz, President of Platform-A. “With Quigo’s technology and inimitable approach, we’ll be able to capture the full value of our top-notch roster of brands.”

“AOL’s brands and properties consistently outperform others in their genre,” said Kevin Fortuna, Quigo’s President and Chief Strategy Officer. “Their Entertainment channels are the most visited sites in their respective categories and Money & Finance users are the most engaged of any leading finance destination with 13.9 million unique visitors*; we’re delighted to provide our premier solution to these premium sites on the Web.”

Other AOL properties slated to deploy the AdSonar platform include AOL Sports, AOL Mail and many more.

According to comScore Media Metrix*, page views for AOL Programming totaled 2.8 billion in January 2008, up 20% over the previous month, with time spent up 17%. AOL Music, AOL Television and Black Voices all held the no. 1 position in their respective categories; Moviefone was no. 2 in its category, receiving a record 17.4 million unique visitors and 359 million page views; and AOL Body moved up to no. 3 in the Health category, receiving 109 million page views. In addition, AOL News received 667 million page views from 25.6 million unique visitors, AOL Sports received 175 million page views, and AOL Money & Finance held strong at no. 2 in the category with 13.9 million unique visitors.
