Ametek Acquires Materials Hardness Testing Technology And Products

AMETEK, Inc. (NYSE: AME) today announced that it has acquired Newage Testing Instruments (“Newage”), a privately held manufacturer of hardness testing equipment used in a broad range of industries, including aerospace, oil exploration and defense.
