Belkin Prevails in International Trade Commission Investigation
ITC rules Belkinís KVM switches do not infringe on Atenís patent
(Compton, CA) .Ė Belkin International, Inc., the global leader in connectivity solutions, announces that the International Trade Commission (ITC), in a Notice of Commission Determination issued on February 8, 2008, ruled that Belkin did not infringe Atenís patent (U.S. Pat. No. 7,035,112) and that Belkin did not violate the trade statute.
At Atenís request, the ITC initiated an investigation against Belkin in December 2006. Aten claimed several Belkin KVM switches infringed on their patent. In November 2007, an ITC administrative law judge ruled in Belkinís favor, finding no violation by Belkin.
The investigation has now been terminated by the ITC.
Mark Reynoso, President for Belkin International, Inc.:
