WEBWIRE

To ensure that DBsafe successfully meets the challenges that face a high-tech start-up, the Israeli data security company appointed three US industry veterans to serve as an Advisory Board.

“Having the winning solution is all fine and good, but bringing it to market is a whole different story,” said Ofer Goldhirsh, DBsafe CEO and Founder: “I am positive that Don Ulsch, Dennis Huaman, and Zvi Koenigsberg will provide us with the best possible leadership for bringing our solution to the market”.

MacDonnell “Don” Ulsch is a leading consultant in the fields of technology, security, cyber-crime and cyber-terrorism. Don Ulsch has served as advisor to private firms, news media, and government organizations, including US Secrecy Commission, British Government, ABC-TV News, CBS Radio, The Wall Street Journal, and the New York Times.

“DBSafe is doing critical work in defending data integrity against the attacks of our enemies in the post-9/11 information war of identity theft waged by criminal, drug, and terrorist organizations,” said Don Ulsch. “DBSafe is using cutting-edge security technology to assist customers in architecting sustainable regulatory compliance while protecting personal information against improper disclosure. This strategy positions the company for significant cross-industry growth.”

Dennis HuamĂn has more than forty years corporate experience in security planning and management and in developing security products for use by the government. His corporate affiliations have included Wang Laboratories and MetLife. Dennis HuamĂn is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).

“In light of current privacy and security regulation and legislation, senior executives are spurred to take proactive steps to address potential compromise of enterprise Privacy Information. DBsafe provides a cost-effective, accurate, and reliable security service that protects corporate information assets in enterprise databases” said Dennis Huaman. “DBsafe’s approach monitors database access and use, and addresses compliance requirements. It also confirms the performance of due diligence activity.”

Zvi Koenigsberg is a Business Development Consultant who brings to the Advisory Board of DBsafe 12 years of government security and intelligence experience, and 10 years experience in networks and systems administration. He has provided technical consulting to major U.S. corporations, including AT&T, Compaq (HP), and Staples.

“During my years in business development, I have yet to encounter a
product that provides such tangible and substantial value to both management and staff,” said Zvi Koenigsberg.

DBsafe was founded in 2004 to develop unique, data-centric security solutions. Its ingenious products provide intelligent monitoring and enforcement tools which enable the security administrator to enforce security policy to address technological threats while complying with emerging legislation.
