GreenWood, Inc. Participates in Hunt Refining Safety Celebration

Greenville, SC - - January 31, 2008 - - GreenWood, Inc. recently participated in a first ever safety celebration with customer Hunt Refining Company in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. More than 150 personnel representing Hunt employees, sub-contractors and management gathered for a steak dinner in recognition of safety awareness and safe work practices. Bobby Freeman, Hunt’s Vice President for Safety and Mike Slaughter, Hunt’s Plant Manager, recognized the contributions of all involved in making Hunt a safe environment. GreenWood has now worked over 600 days without a recordable accident and attributes this to their safety-first culture instilled in all levels of work performed.

Through the work of 45 employees, GreenWood provides total maintenance services for Hunt’s 70,000 barrel a day refinery. GreenWood was represented by John Wood, CEO; Brad Wood, President; and Rick Phillips, Director of Maintenance and Capital Services who attended the celebration. GreenWood has been on site at Hunt since 2004.
