Introducing the Crestron Owners Group (COG)

New networking group to foster information sharing among institutions that utilize Crestron solutions.

Today marks the launch of the Crestron Owners Group (COG), an organization that will bring end users together to optimize their AV and technology experience. COG provides end users with regular national and regional meetings, supplemented by a dynamic web community where they can share knowledge, learn from each other’ experience, and, ultimately, enhance their return on Crestron investment.

COG is an independent end user organization designed to open dialogue and interaction between professionals at any institution using Crestron control systems. COG is supported via Crestron sponsorship and participation as a corporate member, to facilitate communication between manufacturer and end user for the purpose of information sharing and technology development.

“This is a grassroots effort to ensure that all of our customers, and ultimately our dealers, are fully supported when using Crestron solutions,” said Christina Peterson, Regional Manager, Crestron. “This effort complements our award-winning True Blue customer support and is another venue for Crestron users to share ideas and realize the full power of Crestron solutions.”

COG members will have the opportunity to learn from each other’s experience, collect design ideas, share best practices, experience other Crestron campuses firsthand, provide input for the development of new products and technologies and gain publicity for their own projects and organizations. COG members will also have access to Crestron-specific materials such as a user driven, resource-rich website and regular national and regional meetings.
