Emory Hosts Health Care Reform Seminar with CDC’s Dr. Julie Gerberding

Emory University’s Institute for Advanced Policy Solutions, in collaboration with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), will launch a new bimonthly lecture series on health system transformation.

Emory will host the first seminar Jan. 30 featuring inaugural speaker Julie L. Gerberding, MD, MPH, CDC director. Emory President James W. Wagner, PhD, will open the series by introducing Dr. Gerberding.

The seminar series is intended to create a larger forum of discussion on health system transformation, health care reform and health policies, and to offer participants insight on the role of public health and health policy in the U.S. health system.
