Harris Corporation to Showcase Expanded Multi-Image Display Processor Portfolio at Integrated Systems Europe 2008
First Showing of Harris Corporation’s Complete Multiviewer Range at Leading European Audio/Visual Show
LONDON, (Integrated Systems Europe, Stand B136) — Harris Corporation (NYSE: HRS), an international communications and information technology company, will showcase its complete, expanded range of high-definition (HD) multiviewers for the first time at the Integrated Systems Europe conference. The event, being held January 29–31 at the RAI Exhibition and Congress Centre in Amsterdam, marks the first showing of the complete range of multiviewer solutions since the company acquired Zandar Technologies in November.
With the broadest multi-image display processor portfolio in the industry today, Harris will be demonstrating its new and expanded family of multiviewers at the show, including:
* The Predator™ VC/VS multiviewers, which perform real–time monitoring of 12 or 16 video inputs and are designed for CCTV/surveillance applications.
* The FusionPro+™ series multiviewers, designed for mission–critical environments where flexible configuration of multiple input sources is required for centralised monitoring.
* The award–winning CENTRIO™ multiviewer — available as a standalone platform or as part of a system solution integrated with the Harris® Platinum™ router. Combining superior graphics, industry-proven architecture and integrated test and measurement tools, CENTRIO™ enables unique new capabilities and simplified system designs that can reduce the cost and complexity associated with traditional, large-system monitoring implementations.
* An enhanced control option for the Zandar Z-Configurator user interface, as well as the new Z-Controller software. Z-Controller provides video wall operators immediate control of the wall for scenario changes, whether scheduled or on alarm activation, and provides visual indication of fault conditions and an alarm logging tool.
“Harris Corporation’s broad range of multi–image display processors, provide best–in–class monitoring solutions that have been repeatedly in mission–critical customer applications,” said Richard Scott, vice president of operations, Europe, Middle East and Africa, for Harris Broadcast Communications. “By combining the Zandar portfolio with the Harris multiviewer range, we are able to provide flexible and scalable solutions that are leading the way in multiviewer technology.”
