MRPRO to be exhibited at major international trade shows

San Jose, CA, January 28, ‘07- Papros Inc. will be exhibiting its best of the breed software for Supply Chain Product Environmental Lifecycle Management at upcoming international shows. This week it will be exhibiting at the Green Manufacturing Expo in Anaheim, California. On March 6, it will be exhibiting its products at the Green Seminars event at the Tech Center in Santa Clara, California. The next show the products will be exhibited is at the IPC Printed Circuits Expo, APEX and Designers Summit in Las Vegas, during April 1-3, 2008. Papros Inc. offers an unique suite of products to support a whole series of product, part and raw material information collection, maintenance and use in a highly automated manner. The products support both list based and risk based approaches by enabling companies to track not only material composition, but also environmental footprint information such as wastes created, or air emissions including greenhouse gases during the entire lifecycle from raw material to end of life.

Major products that will be exhibited include MRPRO, EMSPRO and FEPRO. EMSPRO enables the complete calculation of product footprint and has been on the market for more than ten years and sold internationally. Its also has many other features for total environmental management of a product’s lifecycle. FEPRO is a rapidly deployable vulnerability assessment package for any company.

A very easy-to-use program, MRPRO supports Design for the Environment by easily exchanging product footprint, obsolescence information and due diligence communications in the realm of RoHS, RoHS-like (China, Korea), JMOSS, WEEE, REACH, EuP and other emerging regulations. MRPRO enables compliance by full support for data conforming to EIA, JEDEC, JIG (supports the latest JIG-101A), IPC and other emerging cross industry standards such as F-40 (ASTM) or perhaps a standard from SAE. Its spreadsheet interface enables easy conversion from the multitudes of spreadsheet formats used for the exchange of product or part data including new ones emerging for REACH. MRPRO incorporates a full array of functions including aggregation, maximum rollups, use tracking, BOM scrubs, rapid read-ins from test data or one hundred percent disclosures, direct importation, robust computations, obsolescence evaluation, footprint (including carbon) determination and rapid write-outs of hundreds of product/part information files. These are all in formats that are authentic, signed and secure, and standards based formats.

The platform description for MRPRO can best be termed as this- the main engine is based on hybrid Web 3.0 technology using a spreadsheet interface (“web is the database and the spreadsheet its interface”), and the any-user web client is based on Web 2.0 AJAX technology. Thus the product helps companies manage data in a manner that has a lower carbon footptint, thereby helping them towards becoming “carbon neutral”.
