Planit Solutions Selects AT&T to Upgrade Its Network Services

Tuscaloosa, Alabama.- AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) announced today a new two-year networking agreement with Planit Solutions, a Tuscaloosa-based software-solutions provider specializing in the home improvement, metalworking, woodworking and cabinet-making industries.

Under the terms of the agreement, AT&T will provide Planit Solutions with a new Virtual Private Network (VPN) solution, which will provide consistent network services and deliver reliable network availability to Planit Solutions’ seven locations in six states.

The AT&T VPN will provide Planit Solutions with improved bandwidth speeds, which will satisfy corporate and networking demands such as interoffice collaboration and a robust Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) infrastructure. The new network services will also help control Planit Solutions’ overall monthly costs while maintaining a high standard of network performance and scalability.

Also included is the use of the AT&T BusinessDirect® Web portal for personalized, secure, anytime access to detailed information regarding critical network services. With AT&T BusinessDirect, Planit will also be able to view, analyze and pay its bill online.
