Atomic Solar Pathfinder Timepiece Will be Showcased at International CES Show

LAS VEGAS, NV.– Casio America, Inc. is proud to announce one of the company’s Pathfinder timepieces, the PAW1300-1V was selected as an honoree of the Innovations 2008 Design & Engineering Award in the Personal Electronics product category. The Innovations Design & Engineering Award recognizes the most innovative consumer electronics products in the industry’s top product categories. The Pathfinder PAW1300-1V will be on display at Casio’s Booth #9808 in the Central Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center during CES.

The Innovations Design & Engineering Award has become the indicator of the best designed products in consumer electronics. Since 1989, the awards have given consumer technology manufacturers an opportunity to have their products judged by a panel of industry insiders. The PAW1300-1V will also be featured in the Innovations Design and Engineering Awards Showcase at the Sands Expo and Convention Center during International CES. Honorees will receive recognition throughout the entire show and in a variety of events before and after CES.

Additional features such as 100M water resistance and low temperature resistance are ideal for extreme climates!

The Pathfinder timepiece also incorporates all the great features that have become synonymous with Casio, including atomic timekeeping technology which can receive signals from the U.S., U.K., Germany and Japan based on the users home city setting. Consumers wearing the Pathfinder watch will not worry about synchronizing their watches during Daylight Saving time or a leap year.

The PAW1300-1V is available in black resin at Sears, JC Penney’s and Macy’s for the MSRP of $300. The same Pathfinder model is also available in green resin (PAW1300-3V) and titanium band (PAW1300T-7V) for the MSRP of $350.
