Sprint Nextel Names Lazard As Appraiser In Put Process With Nextel Partners

(NYSE: S) today named Lazard as appraiser in the put process initiated by Nextel Partners shareholders following the Sprint Nextel merger that closed on Aug.12, 2005. Nextel Partners previously designated Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated as its appraiser in this process.
