SanDisk Ranked among Top Corporate Citizens in Technology by CRO Magazine

SanDisk Honored In The Technology Hardware Category,
Based On Criteria Including The Environment And Corporate Governance

MILPITAS, CALIFORNIA. – SanDisk Corporation (NASDAQ:SNDK) today was named one of “CRO’s 10 Best Corporate Citizens by Industry 2007” by CRO (Corporate Responsibility Officer) magazine. The magazine evaluated 61 large, publicly traded companies in the Technology Hardware category and ranked SanDisk among the top ten.

CRO Magazine retained the research firm IW Financial to assess companies on eight criteria: environmental policies, climate-change disclosure, support for human rights, employee relations, lobbying, philanthropy, corporate governance and financial performance.

The “10 Best” rankings will appear in the November-December issue of CRO Magazine, and are also available online at www.thecro.com.

“The companies in our ‘10 Best’ groups embrace higher standards than their industry peers for corporate citizenship, defined as taking care of customers, employees, suppliers and investors, as well as helping the environment and local communities,” said CRO Editor-In-Chief Dennis Schaal. “Our eight categories of corporate citizenship allowed us to do a truly comparative rating of the whole company, especially when measured against the competitors with whom they duke it out in the marketplace.”
