AIG Enhances AIG.COM Web Site For Domestic Commercial Clients

AIG ENHANCES AIG.COM WEB SITE FOR DOMESTIC COMMERCIAL CLIENTS

American International Group, Inc. (AIG) today announced the launch of the enhanced AIG.com Web site. The new site has been designed to allow AIG’s U.S.-based commercial clients and insurance brokers to quickly find information and enable simpler business transactions with the AIG Companies(R).

Today’s announcement marks the first step AIG is taking to globalize AIG.com and use the Web site to help represent the breadth and strength of its member companies’ products with a consistent brand message. The site is now is arranged so users can search 13 vertical market segments to access 169 products from AIG’s U.S. commercial insurance operations. Additionally, AIG.com enables insurance brokers to log into the site to access a number of online tools, including click-and-bind technologies.

“We’ve worked with insurance brokers and commercial customers to develop the new AIG.com with the goal of simplifying how they interact with us,” said Gordon Knight, President of Sales and Marketing for AIG’s Domestic Brokerage Group. “The commercial section of AIG.com is now organized by product, industry and business size, which is in line with our mission to deliver the AIG Companies’ full offering to meet the many business and risk management needs of customers.”

The enhanced version of AIG.com is available to the company’s U.S.-based commercial customers and brokers. AIG plans to redesign other country sites and add new features in the next few months.
