SYDNEY — Global market intelligence firm Synovate today announced that CEO for Australia and New Zealand, Brent Stewart, has been appointed CEO Global Business Planning. He will continue leading the Australia and New Zealand businesses from Perth in addition to his new responsibilities.

Global CEO Adrian Chedore, said the new role is both operational and client-facing in nature. “Brent has already played a major role in shaping strategy in our business and will be central to ensuring our business model continues to deliver real benefits for our clients. It will also provide management focus for a range of strategic initiatives within the business, all aimed at delivering an even better end product.”

Stewart will work closely with Chedore in developing and executing a company-wide business plan to harness the intellectual property and intelligent data delivery systems within Synovate.

As part of his new role, Stewart becomes Executive Sponsor of Synovate Loyalty, where he will provide continuity of commercial leadership alongside Larry Crosby, Chief Loyalty Architect. Initial priorities include pursuing product development aimed at streamlining and automating research solutions, and offering greater data visualisation, a growing area of importance in market research.

Stewart says “As business intelligence is becoming a critical endeavour in major corporations, there is a growing need for research to be presented in quick, easy to understand formats to complement other business critical data. Synovate understands this so we have developed dashboards and interactive portals to help our clients make better and faster decisions.”
